IT Leadership Development Program (LDP):

The IT Leadership Development Program is a 3-year program which helps build a broad spectrum of skills across the functional areas of Information Technology. The LDP includes:

  • Meaningful rotational assignments across IT functions
  • Mentoring by IT Senior Leaders
  • Continuous learning through training, workshops, and cohort activities
  • Networking with fellow participants
  • Traveling to Jabil sites
  • Living and working abroad for one (+) rotation

Participants will be part of an organization which creates value through highly innovative, secure information technology capabilities. The IT organization enables differentiated best-in-class design, supply-chain management, manufacturing and repair services to Jabil customers.

Job responsibilities may include:

  • Effectively leading and managing projects; meeting key milestones and deliverables applying project management methodologies
  • Participating in the design and implementation of processes
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Leveraging project management and reporting tools to conduct analyses
  • Gaining exposure to phases of the software development lifecycle such as requirements gathering, design, validation
  • Working collaboratively across functions/groups/departments to achieve shared objectives
  • Participating in enterprise architecture projects


  • December 2018 – Summer 2019 graduates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following majors:
    • Computer Science
    • Management Information Systems or Information Systems
    • Engineering
    • Other related degree
  • Strong academic performance (3.2 or better cumulative GPA)
  • Applicants for this position must have work authorization in Malaysia that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa by the employer.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Analytical and inquisitive mind-set

  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Multilingual a plus
  • Willing to travel and live abroad
