Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Account Director is a central role in Jabil Radius’ business, reporting directly to our Global Director, Business Development. The AD will be a key team member working with current clients, new prospects, the sales team, operations team, and executive management. This Account Director role will help drive business results through a combination of client engagement and business development, responsibility for helping to create and drive business strategy, developing and directing how we deliver our services, and building long-term and successful client relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Current and new account management
- Relationship expansion within existing clients and across their business units
- Ensure our business strategies align with our clients' business goals; ensuring all programs can be a business success for Jabil Radius
- Support Jabil Radius team with new client acquisition - this will include assessment of opportunities, attending prospect/client meetings, working closely with our proposal team to deliver proposals quickly, leading client presentations, executing NDAs and MSAs, and closing new business
- Serve as the account leader with clients, internal teams and operational teams
- Provide client-based insights to inform our business, including expansion of capabilities and talent recruitment
- Serve as the engagement architect, ensuring our approach properly fits our clients' expectations and goals for the program(s); clearly understand clients' financial needs for the program(s) and drive the pricing strategy
- Ensure alignment with other Account Directors when co-delivery of services is required to support account plans and strategies
- Work closely with our program managers to ensure successful delivery of our work and providing an escalation path for issue resolution
- Lead the transition from sales process to project delivery
- Establish and cultivate strong relationships with clients at senior levels; drive customer entanglement; maximize growth within each client
- Build and maintain strong relationships within Jabil
- Work closely with Operations / PM to ensure we’re delighting the client through our work
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or an appropriate business-related equivalent experience and training; Technical Degree preferred.
- 10+ years of demonstrated success developing and growing client relationships
- 5+ years in a consulting/ professional services environment a plus
- A well-rounded knowledge of the product development process, including product research & strategy, human factors design, industrial design, quality, clinical & regulatory, and manufacturing processes
- 5+ years working in a Medical, Life Science, Pharmaceutical or Diagnostics environment; clear understanding of the unique requirements and rigor needed to successfully launch a medical product
- Knowledge of technical platforms, business models, subject matter and trends within your sector
- Ability to travel on an as-needed basis
- Excellent problem solver and creative thinker
- Recognized leader with "gravitas"
- Outstanding verbal, written communication, and presentation skills;
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions, solve problems and exercise good judgement and flexibility
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound business judgement and negotiation skills
