Job Summary

The Graphic & Video Production Designer is part of the Communications & Brand Strategy Team and fulfills the role of graphic designer, video production shooter/editor/designer and photographer. This person is responsible for aiding in creating design deliverables and video production execution for internal and external communications projects, which includes, but are not limited to, thought leadership graphics and videos, strategy & business Initiatives updates, podcasts and motion graphics, social media assets, presentations, web assets, posters, flyers, etc. The Graphic & Video Production Designer will also contribute to the organizational efficiency of the team’s data asset management systems by archiving, tagging, tracking and categorizing media appropriately. They will also perform other communication duties such as event and product photography, subtitling videos, executing all processes with responsibility for quality, timeliness and cost-effectiveness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinates artwork and layout development for a wide variety of projects with fixed deadlines while maintaining quality standards
  • Understands and utilizes established corporate brand guidelines
  • Conceptualizes and produces high-quality, creative, print and digital collateral
  • Demonstrates a high degree of creativity through the understanding of design principles including typography, color, images and composition for effective design solutions and strategy
  • Collaborates with various team members and effectively translates feedback and inputs to develop graphic solutions that simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences
  • Supports pre-production, production, and post-production of video projects
  • Supports projects and activities with interviews and b-roll
  • Supports photography needs
  • Maintains brand consistency
  • Asset management for internal storage and media libraries
  • Compiles process/task documentation
  • Subtitles international video content and posts to distribution channels
  • Interacts and collaborates with communication team and external resources to coordinate internal and external messaging
  • Defines project tasks and resource requirements
  • Implements and manages project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Complies and follows all procedures within the company security policy
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Qualifications (Knowledge Requirements)

  • Knowledge of current print, web/digital and video design trends
  • Strong knowledge of graphic design principles
  • Strong conceptual and creative skills and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Working knowledge and experience in the elements of video production, such as lighting, audio, composition, and cinematography, is required
  • Light motion graphic experience such as title animations and basic key framing is required
  • Knowledge of non-linear editing, animation and audio edit/post software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (specifically PowerPoint, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)
  • Knowledge of cameras, lenses, stabilizers, lights and grip/electric equipment
  • Familiarity with green screen keying and removal
  • Familiarity with PC and Mac systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of project management flow within a production environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Positive and enthusiastic with a drive for continuous learning and skill development
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and is adaptable to change
  • Ability to be a positive contributor within dynamic team environments
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, adapt to change, and prioritize responsibilities
  • Self-motivated; willingness to do what it takes, and at times taking on tasks outside of defined roles
  • Working knowledge and experience in event and portrait photography a plus
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS and other languages a plus

Education & Experience Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in creative design and video production environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in multimedia, communications, public relations, marketing or related field
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.

Note: this is a contract role starting ASAP till 31st August 2021, with a potential view of becoming a permanent role.

Work location: Work can be performed remotely with some potential travel to sites in Kwidzyn, Tiszaújváros etc.
