Jabil Optics Germany GmbH in Jena , a subsidiary of Jabil Circuit Inc., Florida, is a leading provider of Optical design services for 3D sensing, augmented and virtual reality, and advanced camera systems. In an international team, Jabil Optics Germany GmbH develops innovative customized opto-electronics modules for new generation products in Consumer Lifestyle, Automotive and Industrial.

For our Optical Design Center in Jena, Germany, we are seeking (non-time-limited/ 38-hour week) a

IT Business Analyst (m/f/d)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• cross-regional user support in PTC Windchill and in CAD tools:

  • further development of the use and optimization of processes

  • conducting training

  • administrative support

• implementation and support of the Manufacturing Execution System of Jabil (e.g. introduction of traceability processes)

• monitoring of the IT-KPIs such as continuous improvement

• support of the business systems (SAP, Coupa)

• drive automation and digitalization (Power Apps, M365, other workflows)

• control and maintain IT costs

• creation and maintenance of databases

• programming of macros and sharepoint applications

• implementation of local IT projects and support for users on site

• work in alignment with corporate and cross functional IT teams in order to support the Jena site

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Master's degree in Business Informatics or equivalent

• knowledge of the use of the PTC Creo programs and the PLM-System PTC Windchill / PDMLink PLM required

• experience in the application of cloud systems (AWS, AZURE)

• practical experience in user support/ scripting & programming (Powershell, VB, VBA, Office 365 & Power Apps)

• ability to understand and document complex problems

• willingness to learn and enjoyment of new technical challenges

• passionate in communicating with end users and corporate colleagues in an international environment

• expert business and technical English proficiency
