JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Plant Financial Analyst at our Monument plant is responsible for supporting a strategic

manufacturing facility. This position supports the business by ensuring reasonable assurance on the

accuracy of the plant’s financial analysis and planning function while ensuring compliance with corporate

policies and procedures. All activities are undertaken with the objective to improve Jabil’s operating results

while maintaining the controls and discipline compliant with Jabil standards.

Our ideal candidate has 4-6 years within financial or accounting department, strong knowledge of general

ledger accounting, able to report out financial results to peers and executive personnel, and have

experience working independently supporting senior leaders and management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Month End Closing activities and executing the monthly financial closing process

· Capital expenditure analysis

· Understanding and ensuring that finance processes are in compliance with SOX guidelines

· Reporting and analysis

· Supports financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes

· Prepares and delivers the plant financial forecasts and projections

· Communicates results effectively to management and non-financial personnel

· Provides in-depth analysis on variances to plan and forecast

· Provides insightful and competitive analytics that anticipate change and drive decision making

· Cross-functional leadership and team contribution

· Work across all levels of the company to achieve plant objectives

· Provide functional expertise to plant leadership and team members.

· Prepare and analyze complex financial reports on a recurring and/or ad hoc basis

· Perform ad hoc analyses often with very specific deadlines

· Other duties may be assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Required

· Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

· 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis in a manufacturing operation (cost

accounting)

· Knowledge of manufacturing costing principles

· Strong financial acumen with demonstrated analytical ability

· Critical thinking, problem solving and decision making through analytics and data

· Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization

· Knowledge of effective application of statistical tools, NPV, IRR and other capital evaluation

techniques.

· Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

and e-mail skills required.

Preferred

· Working knowledge of SAP (highly preferred)

· Effectively develops business cases and enroll leaders at all levels in taking appropriate action

· Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages in an integrated

system such as SAP and TM1
