Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Provides leadership in the facilitation of strategies and initiatives to ensure that human resources activities are in alignment with corporate objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·         Collaborates with management personnel on the development and implementation of regional strategies with respect to staffing, retention, compensation, benefits administration, organizational development, training, employment and labor law, employee relations, HRIS, performance management, policy development and administration.
·         Develops and implements cost containment strategies, regional benchmarking of current market trends re. Compensation, health and welfare programs, as well as employee development and regional support for all merger and acquisition activities.
·         Implements employee development programs in conjunction with the corporation’s goals and objectives to support the development of its workforce and to insure the perpetuation of the Jabil Culture.
·         Has oversight responsibility of corporate compliance issues in reference to Safety & Health initiatives, Social & Environment Hygiene, Regulatory and Statutory programs etc.
·         May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

·         Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.
·         Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable company’s business goals and objectives with ability to devise and implement strategy to achieve targets.
·         Strong financial and analytical ability. Proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint.
·         Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes.
·         Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
·         Strong and convincing communication skills.
·         Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

·         Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent business related experience.
·         Plus 8 - 15 years or Human Resources Experience with a minimum of 5 years in a management position at a site level.
·         Familiarity with principles associated with working in a collective bargaining unit.
·         Or a combination of education, experience and/or training.

This key Human Resources leadership position is responsible for providing direction to the Americas HR Shared Services Tier 1 and Tier 2 Teams, including operational oversight of processes, transactions, activities, systems, data integrity, customer relationships and other related services within HR Shared Services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Leads efforts to standardize and to improve key processes and oversee end-to-end process chains.

·        Responsible for all processes supporting employee lifecycle – onboarding till offboarding and oversee high volume of employee movements to ensure appropriate standards are met in all instances

·        Ensure 'best in class' employee experience from HR operational processes and interactions.

·        Maintains deep systems and process knowledge to effectively manage transactions and deliverables to drive related efficiencies.

·        Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable Employment Regulations and practice in Asia

·        Makes effective recommendations and decisions by using in-depth knowledge of customer services practices, systems and business processes.

·        Uses financial and/or quantitative analysis to evaluate and act on strategic options and opportunities.

·        Develops and partners with stakeholders on implementation strategies that identify the appropriate goals, resources, communications, metrics and progress reviews.

·        Analyzes issues, situations, and circumstances and their impacts on the business and recommends customer centered solutions which may include moving the task into the shared services environment.

·        Recommends and implement methodology or tools to ensure the overall integrity of the data.

·        Ensures service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are in place to improve quality and customer experience.

·        Serves as the escalation point to resolve complex issues or requests coming into HR Shared Services that cannot be resolved by the team.

·        Ensures data management and documentation of the end-to-end employee lifecycle HR processes are optimal.

·        Develops and manages employees performance, holding the HR Shared Services team accountable to effectively and efficiently complete work responsibilities.

·        Manages internal customer relationship and leverage SLA reporting to provide full transparency on service effectiveness.

·        Maintains compliance requirements for all processes, whether systematic or manual in nature. Ensures preparation and compliance for internal, external, Sarbanes Oxley and other company-required audits.

·        Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contributions, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively as a team.

·        May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
