Job Description

To perform various technical duties of quality control and quality assurance such as:  establish inspection procedures and methods.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor all FGQA quality assurance functions

  • Establish and maintain appropriate documentation as required for Quality Assurance activities and the Quality Documentation Systems

  • Develop statistical sampling plans and perform process capability studies

  • Implement process control systems and provide technical support for process validations

  • Provide QS support in Product transfers and new products development

  • Assist in training new engineers, train technicians and supervisors in process changes

  • Perform Complaint analysis investigation as needed

  • Participate in process/ quality improvement projects

  • Assist with implementation of Jabil applications for quality systems

  • Support COGs initiatives

  • Responsible for following and administering safety

  • Compliance with safety policies and procedures

  • Follow Jabil Records Management Policies for Convenience Information, Records Retention Schedules, Training and Education, Document Hold Notices, Records Cleanout, Inactive Records and Information Management, Vital Records and third party vendor if applicable.

  • Follow Jabil Records Management Policies for Convenience Information, Records Retention Schedules, Training and Education, Document Hold Notices, Records Cleanout, Inactive Records and Information Management, Vital Records and third party vendor if applicable.

  • Assist, review & approve non-conformances investigations & non-conforming product dispositions.

  • Other responsibilities may be assigned and not all responsibilities listed may be assigned

  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level

  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures

  • Performs other duties assigned as needed


MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management).
• Report to Quality Manager.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bilingual: English/ Spanish preferred

  • GMP/ ISO knowledge preferred

  • Able to make solid decisions that will effectively support the business and company policies.

  • Able to work in a self-paced environment and provide leadership to team as appropriate.

  • Team player.

  • Project Management.

  • Able to understand application of regulatory requirements to the business.

  • Able to analyze and develop quality methods. Responsible for writing clear and concise protocols, study reports, and procedures.

  • This position requires consistent involvement with and knowledge of changes in regulations and standards.

  • Aptitude to respond to shifting priorities through appropriate realignment of required tasks. Personal computers Proficiency required.

  • Skilled in use of PC based systems including, but not limited to: word processing, inventory management, quality system, non-conforming product systems and data base management.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or applied science.

  • Generally requires (4-6) years related experience
