Job Description

Providing support in Human Resources management in accordance with Jabil guidelines. Mexican Labor Law, Internal work regulations, Internal workshop rule, maintain in good relationship with local union reps.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate with Global and/or Retained Recruiting to cover Company/Unit staffing needs.

  • Responsible for projects assigned by HR Manager.

  • Provides support to the plants regarding enforcement of company policy, rules and regulations.

  • Coordinates benefits/services provided to associates.

  • Provides support in wage/salary administration and associate evaluation processes.

  • Coordinates associate development processes.

  • Participate in all HR audits (ISO/Jabil/Mexican Government)

  • Handles routine labor relations and human resource inquiries related to policies, procedures, and bargaining agreements; refers complex matters to appropriate management staff.

  • Serves as the initial contact and liaison for intake and assessment of employee complaints.

  • Conducts initial interviews and gathers information for employee relations matters such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other concerns; informs appropriate HR staff when additional investigation is required.

  • Compliance with safety policies and procedures

  • Ensures compliance with environmental management system (EMS) responsibilities.

  • Follow Jabil Records Management Policies for Convenience information, Records Retention Schedules, Training and Education, Document Hold Notices, Records Cleanout, Inactive Records and Information Management. Vital Records and third party vendor if applicable.

  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level

  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures

  • Performs other duties assigned as needed

MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred

  • GMP/ISO Knowledge preferred

  • Knowledge of Mexican Labor Law

  • Proficient in organization skills

  • Knowledge and experience in main HR processes such as Talent Development, Recruiting, Compensation and Benefits, Employee Relations, etc.

  • Integrity and confidence

  • PC proficient

  • Knowledge of HR/Payroll System preferred

  • Knowledge of Microsoft office

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree

  • 5+ years experience

  • 80% English required
