Job Description

In addition to performing the same duties as members of assigned team, guidance and 

assistance is provided to fellow team members to ensure production goals are achieved. 

Coordinate day-to-day activities in work area as directed. 





  • Works safely at all times and complies with Environmental Health and Safety standards and work practices along with all other work rules 

  • Assures adherence to all company safety policies and procedures and other safety precautions 

  • Acts as a role model for the team members and develops one’s own skill set 

  • Run machines as needed 

  • Lead the training of team members and coordinate OJT 

  • Provide feedback to Supervisors on team members’ performance 

  • Attend CAC meetings when requested 

  • Prepare work area for daily production, including making certain materials are available for production 

  • Ensure production schedule is followed 

  • Monitor production and escalate production issues as required 

  • Prepare manufacturing production reports as required 

  • Drive 5s within work area 

  • Monitor WIP and request work as needed 

  • Investigate and ensure team members are aware of defects 

  • Has working knowledge of all gaging and tooling required to produce product in specification 

  • Frontline trouble shooting (Initial issue assessments, determine level of support needed, etc.) 

  • Resolve issues by performing machine adjustments for tasks such as using indicators to perform alignments, complete repeatability checks for Installation Qualification and Validation Flag Forms and use of MDI codes. 

  • Understands existing processes, tooling setup and machine programs to support tasks associated with process validation (Installation Qualification, Operation Qualification, Performance Qualification, Computer Software Validation and Test Method Validation) and engineering studies. 





  • High school diploma or equivalent education required 




  • Demonstrates leadership qualities including integrity, innovation, passion, and patience 

  • 4-6 years of experience in related manufacturing and/or engineering is required 

  • Demonstrates strong problem solving, written verbal and presentation skills 

  • Demonstrates strong computer skills, such as the use of Microsoft Office products is required 





  • Must be willing to support all production shifts 

  • Follows all laws and policies as they apply to one's job and maintains the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance 

  • Supports and operates in a proactive safety environment 

  • Works in conditions that may be hot, cold, wet and/or noisy along with exposure to fumes, oil, coolants and other manufacturing related chemicals. 

  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time 

  • Frequently required to walk, bend, lift, push, load, unload, and carry materials and products up to 50 lbs.  Specific vision abilities required include close vision for inspection of products, reading process sheets, visual aids, and other documents.
