Information Technology (IT) Intern – Summer 2022

Jabil IT works with Jabil business units to deliver effective solutions to business needs, while driving the adoption of innovative and future technologies. Jabil IT strives to adapt to customer needs, while providing continuous improvement to existing processes and maintaining responsible cost management practices. Jabil offers paid IT summer internships focusing on the following areas. We will match you to a focus based on your major, preference, and experience (if applicable).

Business/Data Analytics – Analyze, build, and transform actionable data for IT and the business, converting business requirements into leverageable data and dashboards

This is for someone who is looking to analyze, investigate, and visualize data

Example of tools and exposure: Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Microsoft Excel, reporting, SharePoint, databases

Software Development/Systems Engineering – Create solutions and support Jabil IT systems, driving process improvement and innovation

This is for someone who is interested in learning about IT operations, automation, software development, and current technology initiatives

Example of tools and exposure: SDLC, .NET, containerization (Docker), AWS/Azure, infrastructure automation, SQL, DevOps, SAP

Project Management – Follow project management best practices to lead effective and efficient IT projects, executing solutions based on business requirements

For someone who is great with interpersonal skills, drive for completion, and bridge the gap between the business and IT

Example of tools and exposure: ITIL, Agile, Waterfall, Change Management, Visio, ServiceNow

Position Requirements:

  • Students entering their Junior or Senior year, or those entering a Master’s program, are preferred
  • Strong academic performance (3.0 or higher cumulative GPA required, 3.2 or higher preferred)
