Job Description

Assembles, evaluates, and documents molded assemblies, components, and systems to produce or improve company products and

facilitate manufacturing operations. Works with other organizations impacted by design development. This description is designed

to capture the general elements of the Engineering Operator work.


· Operate production and development lines during builds

· Coordinate materials for builds

· Organize inventory, dispositioning activities for obsolete materials, logging and tracking of inventory

· Organize and execute shipping activities for builds

· Organize and execute shipping activities for customer kit requests

· Write technical reports documenting engineering runs and ATR’s

· May assist in the design and development of plastic molded sub-assemblies, components, and packaging

· May assist in development of equipment User Requirement Specifications

· Works with manufacturing to trouble-shoot problems, upgrades, retrofits, set-ups

· Participates and may make recommendations to design changes to enhance manufacturing and assembly

· Assists in development of SOP’s, operations, and maintenance manuals

· Understands or motivated to learn Lean Six Sigma tools and processes

· Supports all company safety and quality programs / initiatives

· May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

· May be required to travel to vendor and / or customer sites
