He / she will be responsible for developing UVM based verification environments to verify FPGA firmware at block-level as well as top-level. Duties will include architecting and implementing testbenches and establishing/executing verification use cases.

The candidate should have a good understanding of the Systemverilog programming language and a demonstrated ability to write, test, and debug RTL code independently. Expertise with Xilinx Vivado design and simulation environment, and Mentor Questa environment is highly desired. The candidate should also be familiar with the concepts of Object-Oriented Programming.

Knowledge of 4G/5G wireless communication systems and signal processing is highly desirable. The candidate will work with ORAN & eCPRI standards and will verify design functionality in both frequency and time domains.

  • Demonstrated skills with Systemverilog OOP and HDL debugging using UVM verification methodology
  • Familiarity with 4G (LTE) and 5G (NR) wireless technology standards, particularly Layers 0 & 1
  • Intimate knowledge of ORAN Fronthaul and CPRI interfaces
  • Working knowledge of Xilinx Vivado design and simulation environments and some experience with SDK/Vitis
  • Experienced in hierarchical test bench design, debugging methods and tradeoffs for SoC based FPGAs with AXI and DMA interconnect for real-time processing
