Job Description

Position Summary:

  • Training process owner for the site. Responsible for the development of training curriculums, development of training materials, system administration and delivery of training programs to achieve the sites business objectives, on-the-job training, and employee orientation.  Maintain records of training activities and employee progress and monitor effectiveness of programs.

Key Responsibilities and End Results:

  • Consult with management to identify training, learning and development program needs for employees.
  • Identify knowledge and skills training needs by analyzing desired performance results and/or assessing employee training needs.
  • Assist with the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of training and related learning support programs to address performance gaps.
  • Assist with the development and/or customization of training materials targeted at specific trainee groups.
  • Deliver and follow-up on training and performance initiatives to individuals and groups.
  • May develop and implement procedures, knowledge and job aids in order to assess and support effectiveness of performance improvement, learning and development programs.
  • Present new employee orientations and initial technical and company cultural induction programs.
  • May track and prepare periodic reports on employee learning and training results to continually improve on the transfer of learning to actual jobs and performance.
  • Keep informed on new developments, methods and techniques in the training fields.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the evolution of the company needs.

Job Specifications

  •  BS/BA or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of medical device or pharmaceutical industry training experience. Knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA part 820
  • Ability to deliver training at both Massachusetts facilities (Clinton and Devens, Massachusetts)
  • Ability to support training needs for various shifts
