Job Description


The Sr. Manager of Solutions Innovation is responsible for establishing and delivering differentiated end-to-end business solutions to Jabil’s internal organizations and stakeholders. Core to the role is being part of a large cross-functional and diverse team that manages the systems and tools that facilitate efficient collaboration with Jabil’s suppliers/partners and that gives decision makers and senior leaders the critical visibility and data analytics they need to inform strategic business decisions and goals.

The Sr. Manager of Solutions Innovation provides thought leadership on all systems and data related projects/initiatives as well as maintains ownership of the solutions roadmap, business and technical requirements, time and level of effort estimates, bugs/issues tracking, and project management/tracking. This position works closely with process owners and functional leads, identifies strategic direction for new projects and initiatives, and has primary accountability for delivering efficient and effective systems and data analytics to stakeholders.

The Sr. Manager of Solutions Innovation will act as the primary liaison with the Corp IT organization, setting and communicating clear business requirements and priorities that complement and enhance the overall business strategy and systems roadmap.


  • Provide and facilitate thought leadership in support of developing new and differentiated systems and tools, data analytics, process automation, and systems related capabilities
  • Identifies creative solutions to complex business needs, thinking outside the traditional systems-development box
  • Leads product and tool development as well as data analytics and reporting for stakeholders
  • Interfaces with cross-functional business teams to conceptualize and build creative and unique solutions, products, tools, data analytics, and process improvements and automations
  • Interface with senior leaders and stakeholders (including product and process owners, functional and divisional leads) to understand and translate their business needs and pain points into requirements for new tools, data analytics, and process improvements
  • Serves as primary liaison with the Corp IT organization, including maintaining requirements and priorities for the development and enhancements that need to be made by Corp IT teams to support the business’s strategic needs
  • Manages the full Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for all systems-related work within the team, including following all Corporate IT Security policies and procedures
  • Provides ownership and accountability for the strategy and roadmap for all systems, tools, and data-related initiatives within the team
  • Oversees the development progress of all projects, including providing leadership and direction to team members, escalating appropriately, and providing clear progress updates and input on all project management activities
  • Develops and maintains business requirements documentation, technical documentation, training materials, process diagrams, and other systems support materials
  • Keeps detailed records of business requirements, priorities, time and cost estimates, bugs and break-fixes
  • Drives the deployment and user adoption of strategic systems and track and monitor their value, following up to identify additional process improvements and opportunities for automation
  • Provides leadership and direct supervision for a small team of high-impact technical resources, including providing coaching, direction, performance reviews, strategy guidance, and technical expertise 
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


  • Highly creative, inventive, and innovative individual with experience working in large cross-functional teams
  • Strong functional knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing operation, including related systems and processes
  • Strong technical expertise in .NET, SAP, DB’s, servers and webservers, ETL processes, PowerBI, Pega, process automation, data analytics and reporting platforms, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge of the software development lifecycle processes and project management methodologies such as Waterfall/Agile
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, customers, and team members
  • Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.


  • Bachelor’s degree required.  Master’s degree preferred.  Technical specialty preferred, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Systems, etc
  • Minimum of 15 years experience in a supply chain and manufacturing environment with extensive experience and working knowledge of core supply chain data concepts (inventory days, supplier quality metrics, component classifications, supplier types, etc)
  • Minimum of 15 years experience in systems development and data analytics in a large data environment (10+ TB) and a wide variety of systems (Oracle, SAP, AWS, Microsoft)
  • Minimum of 10 years experience managing teams of technical and development resources
  • Minimum of 15 years experience in core systems development including technical development, UAT, and the software development lifecycle
