Job Description


Performs semi-routine equipment set-up, operation, and adjustment under minimal supervision. Will be responsible for intermediate machine preventative maintenance. Under general supervision, responsible for repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities and production equipment containing hazardous chemicals for Acid Clean in Heading Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

·         Performs equipment set-up, operation, and adjustment.
·         Coordinates with other team members to set up machines
·         Monitor machine rejects to assure that parts are being ran daily.
·         Ensures processes and equipment remain within acceptable company manufacturing standards.
·         Maintains necessary documentation.
·         Responsible for basic program troubleshooting.
·         Performs quality auditing, testing, and basic machine troubleshooting functions.
·         Work direction may additionally be communicated verbally through visual aids and set-up sheets.
·         Ensure that assigned area is clean and organized.
·         May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


·         Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
·         Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
·         Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
·         Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.
·         Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
·         Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
·         Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

·         High School/GED or higher education preferred
·         0-2 years experience as a machinist; familiarity with CNC, Lathe and manual machines a plus
·         Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.

  • Maintain bath chemistry 
  • Utilize spreadsheets to track chemical bath life
  • Assess equipment during and after production runs
  • Attention to detail and safety handling caustic chemicals
  • Time management

The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is $11.63 - $16.85 - $22.07. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, education (if requirement noted above), geographic location, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
