SUMMARY

Based in Shanghai, Our E&I Team is seeking a Test Development Engineer who will be required to be able to perform low to medium complexity engineering work. The types of work performed include development of test solution quotes, development of test solutions, test crisis support and continuous improvement of core competency. The successful test development engineer candidate will be a self-starter who likes to take responsibility and works best with little supervision.

This is a 'hands-on' role requiring a strong technical background and product test development and design experience.

The successful candidate MUST have a background with experience in developing test solutions for: CPE, FWA, 5G router, mmWave product, and related technologies.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE include the following (ones in BOLD are a MUST)

Experience with RF/Microwave measurements using Power Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generator, Vector Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Power meters, or other RF test equipment.

Proficient in the following test development engineering areas: Design for Test, Test program software development (Python, C#, LabVIEW, TestStand, CVI, etc.)

 Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and work with PCB layout tools.

 Experience in interpreting global OTA standards including CTIA OTA Test Plan

 Experience with test fixture design for board (PCBA) and system level testing.

 Bench-test setups

 Experience with design verification theory and tools

 Experience with System and Software Compatibility Testing at a theory and tool level

 Experience with Field Testing theory and program application

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 Write test-plans, procedures & co-ordinate with the E&I test groups and design groups in multi-nation locations

 Define, implement and verify system and/or sub-system level test programs and procedures

 Perform In-House training and mentoring of a multi-discipline engineering staff

 Development reliable test strategies and programs to support Jabil E&I project production test.

 Analyze failure reports for use in refining product test reliability models/programs and driving test program

product improvements

 Develop product test solutions and specifications of medium to high complexity at both the PCBA and integrated System Level

 Manage project budget and schedule commitments from test solution quotes and proposals

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree or above in Telecommunications, Radio Engineering, or equivalent engineering experience. Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a RF test development engineering role engaged in the end-to-end test solution Design, Validation and Manufacturing of products. Ability to travel globally.
