Job Description

Jabil EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) is seeking a self-motivated Facilities Assistant to join our Dublin 15 based team. The Facilities Assistant’s primary role is to ensure the efficient operation and day to day management of the reception and front of house services. As the first point of contact you will lead front of house of the company, ensuring all visitors are greeted and permitted entry in line with company security policies.


  • Provide all front of house reception services, being the first point of contact for visitors and clients

  • Ensure all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing the building (ID badges and passes)

  • Manage the pass access control system

  • Onboard and off board employees in line with safety procedures using our identification and access systems

  • Ensure relevant PPE is ordered and available for staff and visitors 

  • Support the culture of safety management through compliance with all safety procedures, safety observation reporting and proactive involvement in Jabil AIM

  • Look out for, and immediately report any Health & Safety hazards, or potential hazards on site

  • Support the Environmental Health & Safety Manager with the strategic planning, and overall management of the building

  • Purchase materials necessary to perform work requests, to replenish routine housekeeping and maintenance supplies, and raise purchase orders as required

  • Ensure contractor documentation is up to date and amended where necessary

  • Support wider EHS team with ad hoc projects

  • Assist in general ad hoc office administration as required.


  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office with a good working knowledge of Excel

  • Experience working in a similar front of house role

  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Can do attitude

  • Ability to communicate with team members, visitors, and customers, at all times, in an effective, pleasant and tactful manner

  • Flexibility to work across different shifts including evenings.


  • Relevant certification or qualification

  • Knowledge of security technology including access control & CCTV systems.
