JOB SUMMARY

Responsibilities:
- Lead thermal development activities and provides design guidance and methodologies to less-experienced staff members
- Identify and evaluate new technologies, innovations, and outsourced partner relationships for alignment with technology roadmap and business value
- Support and influences integration of thermal strategy into overall architecture
- Lead and direct across multiple platforms, core teams and organizations on all thermal issues
- Recognized internally and externally as a thermal technology and tools expert (Tool: FloTherm, ProE, Excel)
- Drive optimized performance between thermal requirement and acoustic requirement to deliver best customer experience
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical/Thermal Engineering and with +12 year experience in product design(Server, PC and/or Consumer Electronics a plus)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and executive levels
- Advanced understanding of appropriate system architectures and product development from thermal perspective
- Advanced understanding of using 3D CAD and FloTherm thermal simulation tools
- Excellent working knowledge of thermal engineering and design guidelines with specific expertise in the areas of design for large-scale production, sheet metal and injection molding, electrical interconnect systems, heat extraction and thermal control
