Job Description
Jabil EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) Ireland is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join our Dublin 15 team. As the Manufacturing Manager you will facilitate and lead strategic initiatives for our customer, focusing on managing and enhancing customer relations. This role oversees the production output of a particular Workcell, managing the day-to-day operations of a large production team. Utilising your management experience, you will provide extensive support and guidance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for ensuring all production requirements and/or objectives are correctly gathered, understood, and properly translated for execution

Lead and manage a diverse team, providing guidance and motivation to teams to successfully achieve production goals

Align the production team to customer needs by establishing milestones, goals, and objectives based on input from all functional areas and stakeholders within the project

Serve as interface with customers, vendors, stakeholders, and project sponsor(s)

Responsible for recognizing project's Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and manage the work within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints

Establish a regular pattern of (daily, weekly, and bi-weekly) production meetings within the business to ensure the delivery of the production plan.

Management of resource capacity and time tracking

Report production status, issues and implemented solutions as well as evaluations and assessments of the results

Contribute to the development of the overall production strategy for the business.

Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management

Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively, making customer issues a priority

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/ KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Qualification in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing or related field or equivalent combination of training and/ or experience

Extensive experience managing a production team

Effective leadership experience with the proven ability to be flexible, adapt to changing circumstances and environments and navigate through ambiguity

Experience working in a customer interface, demonstrating strong consultative skills and being a main point of contact for all customer queries

Lean operations experience and/or qualification.

Project management experience or experience in a related discipline is desirable .
