BUSINESS UNIT COORDINATOR
JOB TITLE: Business Unit Coordinator
DUTIES: Conduct complex analyses of external and internal data in order to support planning and development, sales and marketing, and operations and policy for the Sector and Division. Participate in supporting new developments, initiatives, and activities, and coordinate/communicate with several areas throughout the Business Unit (globally or regionally) regarding customer issues. Conduct customers’ analyses regarding market demand, operational trends, including IQ, OQ, and PQ, and FDA regulations, including 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and FDA 510 K submission process. Responsible for performing data aggregation and reporting on key performance indicators of a business unit. Continually evaluate and clearly understand Jabil’s current processes and tools in order to determine their ability to support the department’s business needs. Analyze Bills of Materials (BOM) and identify risks for sustaining programs, including looking for secondary sources and obtaining samples if the source is approved by a customer. Provide support to Project Managers and Project Teams for Value Engineering (VE) activities. Perform Return on Investment (ROI) analyses and initiate data entry through applicable tool databases. Coordinate action plans with applicable business units and product operations. Coordinate mini-projects for part qualifications and provide timely feedback to customers. Conduct commercial negotiations with new and existing customers on new products launches within Jabil. Responsible for product quotations and price setup for Jabil’s programs. Responsible for preparation of Statements of Work (SOW), Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, and project planning. Supervise Installation Qualifications (IQ), Operational Qualifications (OQ), and Performance Qualifications (PQ) for New Product Introductions (NPI). Assume ownership for P&L statements for assigned customers. Meet Jabil’s profit targets for programs and assigned customers. Prepare long-term and short-term budgets for assigned customer accounts, including determination of needs for capital expenditures and cash flow. Write deviations, engineering change notices, and coordinate re-work for mini-projects.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Market Analysis, or a related field, or foreign equivalent. 2 years of experience in project management. Experience to include each of the following: 2 years operating in the manufacturing environment of the medical products under 21 CFR 820 and GMP; 2 years utilizing SAP ERP system financial and materials modules; 2 years utilizing IBM Cognos; 2 years analyzing the consumer health market composition and main trends; and, 2 years of performing statistical analysis, while utilizing analytical tools and interpreting financial reports of a company.
