Descripción del Trabajo

Through subordinate staff, manages and directs the design, planning, construction, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, building, and facilities to ensure sufficient maintenance upkeep, security and safety. Develops and implements preventative maintenance programs for facility. Ensures that all safety guidelines and standards are met.


  • Plans, budgets, and schedules facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets layouts, and contracts for construct and acquisitions.

  • Oversees the coordination of building space allocation, layout, and communication services.

  • Develops procedures and plans for directing maintenance personnel engaged in facilities upgrades, relocations, furniture and equipment moves.

  • Reviews and approves all contracts for work relative to facilities expansion and/or maintenance and upkeep including all custodial, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.

  • Develops plans and procedures to provide the organization with optimum service relative to the maintenance/repair of facility, machinery, or equipment.

  • Accountable for ensuring that facility is in compliance with all building codes, state and federal laws and other regulatory requirements such as ADA.

  • Participates in design and development of safety standards and programs.

  • Participates in Safety audits as necessary.

  • Reports to management as required and necessary.

  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


  • Solid knowledge of OSHA other regulatory safety laws.

  • Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills.


  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Five (5) years previous maintenance experience working in an automated manufacturing environment.

  • Previous experience managing cost and schedules for facility upgrades and expansions.

  • Or a combination of education, experience and/or training.
