JOB SUMMARY

The Talent Operations Process Specialist role is responsible for supporting the delivery of application services that empower the organization to strategically manage and deliver training to employees across the organization. Responsible for supporting Workday learning and talent process management, Workday learning administration and providing global strategic learning support.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and administrate Workday Learning and Talent Management processes through workflows and timelines 

  • Participate in the continuous optimization of the Workday Learning & Talent including bi-annual releases and change management requests 

  • Workday Learning & Talent subject matter expert for testing, implementation, and on-going system management / maintenance and system optimization through communication, training, escalation of issues and implementation of enhancements. 

  • Provide coaching, advising, and training for Site Learning Administrators and Content Developers 

  • Support of enterprise wide / global content assignments by creating & launching learning campaigns, scheduling reports and running EIB’s to support global audience/content. 

  • Enforcing standards governance through global reviews for digital courses and campaign 

  • Provide global support of technical issues, inquiries, assignment requests & troubleshooting for all Workday cases using Workday Help 

  • Support global security reviews and approvals 

  • Support monthly reviews of campaign schedules 

  • Perform QA (Quality Assurance) & testing prior to launching courses in Workday 

  • Audit aging content ownership & utilization to ensure content is up to date and relevant 

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve processes and needs for training and knowledge articles 

  • Development and maintenance of Workday Learning and Talent knowledge articles, quick reference guides, training and supporting materials 

  • Follow enterprise required training governance 

  • Support all data requests from internal and external audits 

  • Participate in cross functional projects, CR testing and support as needed 

  • Constantly applies a Lean approach and strives to improve efficiencies of processes and systems. 

  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 


JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to understand the organization’s working structure, politics, mission, and strategies. 

  • Demonstrates knowledge of the perspectives, interests, and agendas of others in the organization. 

  • Strong communication skills and culturally sensitive 

  • Ability to work across countries, languages and business environments 

  • Display expert knowledge (SME) of HR processes, tools and system administration tasks related to the Talent Management system  

  • Experience in Talent Management Systems – configuration, testing, data entry and reporting 

  • Project management skills with experience in business and process analysis, user acceptance testing, etc.  

  • Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required. 

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, leaders, customers, and suppliers 

  • Proficient in business presentation and reporting 

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  

  • Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.  

  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.  

  • Ability to write simple correspondence.  Read and understand visual aid.  

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.   

  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. 

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.   

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.   

  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
