JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Compensation, the Compensation Analyst will assist with administration, research, communication, implementation and governance of compensation programs, policies and procedures related to Enterprise Compensation programs and initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Working with the Global Compensation Partner Team, the Compensation Analyst will serve as the central point of contact for coordinating the compensation survey submission and contracting process to ensure complete and timely global participation. including:

  • Keeping the team up to date on the latest survey data due dates, data publish dates, or major system/data changes, as well as following up and tracking incomplete survey participation.

  • Granting/removing access to core survey sites (Towers, Mercer, Aon/Radford) to new team members or when existing members change roles.

  • Once updated data is published from each survey provider, assign the reports/data to the appropriate compensation team members.

  • Respond to any additional survey data requests or data access issues.

  • Assist in tracking survey contract end dates and understanding the teams survey needs prior to the start of a new contract.

Working with the Global Compensation Partner Team, HR Partners and the HRIS team, the Compensation Analyst will serve as the central point of contact for coordinating governance and administration of Jabil's globally-aligned job catalog, including:

  • Reviewing of all new job profile or job profile update requests to ensure that they are submitted through the correct channel and that all required approvals, reviews and compensation data has been provided.

  • Evaluating job profile descriptions to ensure they follow Jabil's guidelines and policies (e.g. education/experience matches market best practice).

  • Submitting all required job profile information to HRIS and participating in testing and the upload process into production.

  • Communicating with involved parties, the status of the request and providing the job code when completed.

Assisting with administration of the annual global compensation planning process (merit and bonus), including:

  • Participating in or tracking participation in the designated Global Salary Increase survey’s and ensuring payment ahead of survey launch.

  • Consolidating the latest salary increase data for each country into the summary template.

  • Gathering the Global Compensation Partner teams feedback on the proposed salary increase percentages for each country (merit increase budgets).

  • Assisting with creating the merit budget review sign off presentation for leadership review and sign off.

  • Ensuring that the approved merit budgets are loaded accurately into the year-end process configuration template.

                                                       

Coordinating administration of the salary range update process prior to the year-end compensation planning process, including:

  • Coordinating, gathering, and receiving leadership approval for salary range updates.

  • Completing the salary range upload template and providing it to HRIS/HRIT for upload.

  • Coordinating and participating in testing with HRIS/HRIT and Compensation Partners to ensure ranges were loaded correctly and are up to date before moving them to production.

Updating and maintaining Compensation COE Sharepoint sites with relevant, up-to-date compensation policy, practice, guidelines, training and other internally-facing compensation-related information, including:

  • Maintaining/updating site security roles

  • Coordinating site content and structure updates with IT

  • Posting final team documents

  • Ensuring documents are reviewed regularly and are up to date, following up with document owners if review is past due.

Responding to compensation-related inquiries and requests for information from a variety of internal HR customers.

Assisting with report compilation and data analysis as needed.

     

Assisting in the research and analysis of projects as assigned.

Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.

Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) preferred

  • Strong analytical skills - ability to organize and prepare data , read, analyze, and interpret data effectively

  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively to all levels in the organization, both verbally and in writing.

  • Proficiency in English required.

  • Must have excellent organization skills and demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and action thoughtful solutions.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • One (1) to three (3) years work-related experience in the field of Compensation.

  • Working knowledge of compensation market pricing and survey processes.

  • Experience working with Workday Advanced Compensation preferred, but not required.

  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.

This job cannot be performed remotely in the state of Colorado.
