The Compensation Analyst II, as a member of Jabil’s Global Compensation Center of Excellence (CoE) team, will assist in the design, validation, and optimization of Jabil’s broad-based compensation programs and will provide oversight and on-going process improvement efforts associated with non-executive incentive and compensation programs. Additional initial focus will include designing/automating and implementing the process to manage and administer sales and business development incentive compensation programs.
Plan Development

Evaluate and support the design of broad-based compensation programs
-
Review/analyze compensation structures to ensure successful outputs per line of business
-
Evaluate the effectiveness and competitiveness of Jabil’s variable pay programs including bonus and incentive programs, and provide input to design and program modifications

Conduct analysis of compensation data and information to ensure optimal execution and attainment of objectives
-
Collect and analyze compensation data and prepare reports and presentations
-
Create and update compensation program policies and guidelines
-
Assist in the oversight of the configuration of incentive plans in Workday
Plan Administration, Sales / Business Development
-
Perform activities related to implementation, communication, and administration of incentive programs, plans, policies, and quotas

Collaborate and assist with system integration and improvement projects
-
Ownership of the day to day administration and issue resolution for incentive pay processes
-
Load data into business incentive system and execute processes
-
Calculate incentive award payments based on plan provisions
-
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of incentive payments as outlined in the plan
-
Review incentive payment reports for accuracy and completeness
-
Calculate and reconcile payments of incentive compensation on a quarterly and annual basis including

Ensure the alignment of HRIS data between and among systems and databases
-
Maintain, review, and distribute incentive compensation plan documents on an ongoing basis, and communicate and launch plan components and documents for annual compensation plan updates

Manage relationships with third party survey vendors and software providers
-
Perform audits of all data sources to confirm accuracy and functionality of system/process and manage issue resolution with appropriate teams as necessary and ensure all internal audit controls are effective
System Design, Sales / Business Development

Improve the systems, processes and data that drive the sales incentive plans for a large, multi-role sales/business development organization

Research technical solution to best calculate, manage, and pay a sales/business development organization

Participate in plan design and drafting-model proposed plans against anticipated business conditions

Develop/implement solutions as appropriate

Communicate plans and participate in training the Sales team

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred
-
3 - 5 years of work experience in compensation and/or incentive compensation or related field preferred

Preferred experience designing/developing and implementing an incentive compensation plans and tools
-
Strong communication skills, experience working in a cross-functional environment is required
-
Exceptional technical and analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets and understand and interpret data

Advanced MS Excel skills (i.e. pivot tables, vlookups, index matching, formatting for presentation)

Proficiency in other Microsoft applications: PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

Xactly, Workday, and data aggregation tools experience is strongly preferred

Strong project management, critical thinking, detail orientation and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to effectively prioritize assigned accountabilities and be flexible to adapt to changing priorities
