Descripción del Trabajo

Responsible for assisting Quality System sustaining activities and driving improvements as applicable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides training as required to associates and peers in areas such as, manufacturing processes, systems applications, measurement equipment, product complaints, document hold notices, records cleanout and other as needed.

  • Performs verification of activities already completed under non-conformance reports.

  • Assists or executes failure investigations of non-conformances, audit findings, CAPAs.

  • Processes documents, company policies and procedures and other as indicated.

  • Knowledge in Quality Engineering tools such as, measurement system analysis, basic statistics analysis and other as required.

  • Performs data collection and analysis, creates and distributes reports for quality metrics, initiatives, Doc control reports and/or plant scorecards.

  • Provides and maintains availability of applicable supplies for the departments.

  • Assists in maintenance of records management program.

  • Supports document processing and storage per records retention schedule requirements.

  • Follows Records Management Policies.

  • Maintains, use and provides information such as quality records, data reporting from the company's quality information systems.

  • May act as an administrator of local quality information systems May participate in the development of new quality information system applications and processes as business requirements.

  • Supports and assists Document Control & Configuration Mgt. related activities.

  • Supports document processing and storage per records retention schedule.

  • Assist Quality Engineers in driving control plan effectiveness in the mfg lines.

  • Compliance with safety policies and procedures Support to compliance activities related to Environmental Management System (EMS).

  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level

  • Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with records, compliance & vital records protection audits, all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, procedures and Supports Quality Systems audits; FDA, ISO/ TUV, MDSAP, JJRC.

  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.

MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bilingual preferred, English and Spanish

  • Ability to understand, develop & implement inventory & demand management systems

  • Strategic Alignment Strong Communication – oral & written – with all levels of organization

  • Team Leadership Analytical & problems solving

  • Strong Collaboration


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge: 2+ years related work experience or demonstrated performance, or education indicated below.

  • Education: 25%-50% year completion at University, College or Technical Institution completed, or equivalent job-related experience

  • ASQ-CQIA Certification preferred.
