Descripción del Trabajo

  • Monitor the daily shipment status and post on the latest status of the goods in-transit to the internal users.
  • Ensure logistics documents are correctly received and delivered.
  • Coordinates with Warehouse and Customs Affairs Section to expedite the delivery of urgent shipment and to solve the abnormal issues.
  • Coordinates with W/H, Planner and Buyer to develop the receiving materials and the shipping plan.
  • Assist in continuing improvement and saving cost.
  • Ensures the logistics records are correctly maintained.
  • Ensures the freight invoices are correctly noted.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Provides station support, limited training to warehouse clerks within area.
  • Works under immediate supervision and in team support for operations.
  • Has the ability to perform various functions in areas of receiving, packaging, unpacking, material handling and supplies.
  • Reports to area supervisor for all matters relating to conformance, completes inventory or materials reports as required.
  • Trains and instructs other employees on correct process or work instructions.
  • Is able to certify warehouse clerks in the correct execution of process or work instructions.
  • Responsible for non-confirming materials management
  • Manage MRB reports and ageing
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Responsible for the generation / updating / maintenance the Matrix for the direct reports.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English.
  • Ability to effectively respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.  Read and understand visual aid.
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Logistics or related field is preferred.

Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
