In joining our Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) team, you will be working to support the expansion of our business by partnering with our leaders and building the organization through high performance, innovation, creativity, and delivering commitments to our customers.

The Opportunity

As an HR Leader in the Jabil EMS Segment, you will be helping to find, grow and keep the remarkable employees across the EMS Global Business Divisions, Sectors, Engineering and Sales.  You'll be part of the EMS HR leadership team and champion of Jabil’s culture and values, partnering with our business leaders to help them build their organizations and ensure that the teams reward and recognize high performance, innovation, and creativity.  Whether coaching your clients on how to lead their teams, leading your own team, creating deeper employee engagement or managing programs that develop our employees, you are exceptionally focused on supporting our employees to deliver on our commitments to our customers.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Takes initiative, fosters innovation, drives for results, communicates effectively, builds relationships at all levels and has proven multi-site, strategic HR leadership experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture of a multi-national company.
  • Has 10-15 years of blended HR experience as a Business Partner and within HR Centers of Expertise (CoEs), with at least 5-7 years in a People Leader role, and a bachelor’s degree in Business or related field are required.  An advanced degree (i.e. MBA or other Master’s degree in related field) and Human Resources Management Certificate or PHR/SPHR certification are desired.

The Work:

  • Support Jabil’s operating model by providing strong business partnership to Business Division, Sector, Engineering, and Sales leaders who truly own the strategic direction of their respective businesses.
  • Actively contribute as the Human Resources expert on the respective business leadership teams providing strategic guidance and solution support related to people considerations and organizational effectiveness.
  • Represent the HR function in the business driving adoption of enterprise level HR strategies and processes as well as representing business considerations within the HR function.
  • Lead HR M&A initiatives initiated from the Divisions and Sectors while coordinating closely with Segment and Enterprise colleagues on diligence and integration.
  • Collaborate with the Total Rewards team to align Jabil programs ensuring they support a pay-for-performance culture, effective business growth and are competitive in the market/industry in which Jabil is competing.
  • Develop and lead Organizational Health plans across the client groups including proactive employee sensing and management capability development.
  • Foster career progression programs across Business Development, Engineering and Sales.
  • Support the implementation of HCM systems and employee service delivery models across client groups and effectively utilize the systems to provide workforce insights and enhance workforce decision making.
  • Effectively handle and resolve escalated employee relation matters, including hotline cases, and provide leadership support in key employee incidents
  • Track key people metrics and recommend actions for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Segment Talent Management to drive the succession planning, career development, and relative talent pool development process within the EMS Segment and Jabil
  • Coordinate with Segment Talent Acquisition to drive candidate pool development, search strategies and selection practices across the client groups.
  • Lead efforts on early career and university attraction and development strategies for responsible client groups.
  • Guide the development of technical career path progression and programs for responsible client groups.
