To enhance our team of Information Technology in Bettlach/Grenchen (SO), we are looking for:

IT Support Specialist

Jabil's Information Technology Associate is a technology professional proficient in many facets of IT, who possesses general business knowledge and soft-skills allowing him/her to be adaptable in a wide array of IT-related work environments. 

The successful candidate will be able to fulfill different supporting roles depending on specific technology needs, ranging from network support, application training, data security, software testing, to project management.

This IT Associate supports all Jabil's departments including the production lines.

Your Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • 1st & 2nd level support in the area of applications and infrastructure

  • Support with user problems, processing of requests (remote support via TeamViewer) and solution of malfunctions

  • Support with mail and office applications

  • Support in securing the computer network as well as the service environment

  • Installation and integration of IT workstations such as PC/laptop and their peripherals

  • General support of IT work and services within the group of companies

  • Experience in using ticketing tool and ITIL knowledge desirable

  • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation

  • Updating of the inventory system

  • Network support (Wireless, VPN, etc.)


  • 5+ years of IT experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.

  • Network certification preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered. 

  • Microsoft Windows 10, as well as Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2012R2, 2016, and 2019 experience preferred. 

  • Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Cloud Computing and Office365 preferred.

  • Strong customer service skills required.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills required.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.

  • Strong interest in the factory of the future and learning.

  • Ability to work with a Team or independently, with minimal supervision.

  • Language requirement: German and English; French advantageous.

Traveling 20% to other locations - RRN
