SENIOR TREASURY ANALYST
JOB TITLE: Senior Treasury Analyst
DUTIES: Compile and collect information for cash management, risk management, and credit management. Work with site’s finance employees and various departments to obtain first-hand information. Input and generate data in Jabil’s internal systems. Assist in initiatives related to Operation Efficiency, Risk Mitigation, Benefits/Costs, and Junior Staff Development and drive improvements for those initiatives. Assure corporate policies, procedures, and policies are followed. Prepare analytical reports for management. Lead and assist in various special projects in the treasury function. Ensure sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately. Comply and adhere to procedures within company security, audit and finance policies. Perform research and analysis to identify and hedge global foreign exchange exposures risk, executing trading efficiencies through internal house bank for cost effectiveness and exposure reduction. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for closing of books (10Q/10K) and preparation of deliverables for senior management on foreign exchange results. Prepare monthly hedge accounting reconciliation, audit (Sarbanes-Oxley/EMIR/Dodd-Frank), and documentation. Collaborate with business Finance teams to identify and mitigate foreign exchange exposures. Evaluate strategic risk/reward trade-offs, including hedging costs, hedge ratios, hedge structures, and hedge accounting. Establish and maintain banking and key organizational finance relationships. Serve as a key currency derivative trader with the external market for EMEA and the Americas to hedge balance sheet (FAS 52) and cash flow (FAS 133) exposures in accordance with risk management policy. Perform daily review of market data from bank economist and participate in discussions with senior management on currency and interest movements relevant to the organization’s portfolio. Monitor current market trends and drive internal implementation of best practices. Train and mentor junior analysts and interns.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field and 5 years of experience in finance. OR Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field and 3 years experience in finance. 3 of the required years of experience (with Master’s or Bachelor’s) to include Corporate Finance, Treasury or similar functions; financial statements, derivative, or hedge accounting. 1 of the required years of experience (with Master’s or Bachelor’s) in SAP. Requires previous experience (with Master’s or Bachelor’s) with Microsoft Excel functions such as Pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, SUMIFs, IFERRORs and advanced conditional formatting and Microsoft PowerPoint (customize slides/presentations, insert graphs/diagrams and advanced formatting).
