- follow process sheets, perform first piece inspections and in process quality checks
- run process tests or rework operations and associated inspection and process control measures
- cross-train and support other areas as training requirements permit to cover absences and other needs
- perform qualified operator duties as required based on assigned area
- interface with co-workers and support functions to resolve problems
- identify and willing to offer ideas and solutions for improvements based on applied knowledge
- train, mentor and lead employees in multiple cells or a department
- assist and coordinate production efforts to cover demand of multiple cells or a department
- identify work content and perform independently within established guidelines in support of multiple cells or a department
- engage, motivate others, and help implement new ideas and improvements in support of lean initiatives for multiple cells or a department
- coordinate and facilitate process improvement efforts
- appropriately escalate of staffing and work demand to supervisor or lead as required in support of multiple cells or a department
- perform inventory control of the area's supplies, materials and tooling in order to prevent downtime in support of multiple cells or a department
- ensure procedures and policies are being followed and proper documentation is completed within the assigned cells or the department
- develop SOP's and other control processes and practices in support of multiple cells or a department
- support efforts to meet goals and metrics for multiple cells or a department
- coordinate and organize communication/information for meetings on a cell or department level
- troubleshoot minor issues for a cell and to interface with maintenance regarding equipment breakdown and repairs as needed for a certain cell or the department
