Located in one of America’s largest logistical hubs, the tenured team at Jabil Memphis helps customers innovate and bring products to market quickly and reliably. The site offers expansive configure-to-order and build-to-order manufacturing services for diverse industry segments.

Jabil Memphis has about 750,000 square feet of manufacturing space. The manufacturing capabilities of the team at Jabil Memphis enable this location to provide complete product solutions to our customers in several industries including point-of-sale, storage, and networking and telecommunications. Our configure-to-order and build-to-order capabilities help customers innovate and bring products to market quickly and reliably.

JOB SUMMARY - Finance Manager - based onsite in Memphis, TN

Our Finance Manager is responsible for accurate reporting of all accounting and financial operations of the facility. Position requires all financial reporting meets compliance to governmental institutions as required by Law.

IN YOUR ROLE YOU WILL:
·         Consolidates financial information, preparing reports and statements and reporting to Directors.
·         Achieves daily / weekly/monthly/quarterly processing/reporting objectives.
·         Manages, communicates and delivers to all relevant reporting deadlines.
·         Maintains and issues weekly/monthly Cash and Balance Sheet forecasts.
·         Ensures integrity of Balance Sheet through prompt reconciliation and review.
·         Leads and delivers on Audit and Compliance objectives.
·         Sets targets for improvement in all key operational areas – e.g. Daily Sales Outstanding, Days Payables Outstanding, Currency Exposure, Days to Close, Payroll processes, Fixed Asset validation, etc.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

·         Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.
·         Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable company’s business goals and objectives with ability to devise and implement strategy to achieve targets.
·         Strong financial and analytical ability. Proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint.
·         Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes.
·         Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
·         Strong and convincing communication skills.
·         Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management required.
·        3+ years experience in a relevant Jabil financial position or external finance experience in the manufacturing industry.
·         3+ years experience in a supervisory or management role preferred.

·         3+ years experience with SAP preferred.
