Main contact window for foreign and local customers for FACA (Failure Analysis & Corrective Action) activities during NPI build stage. To provide technical solutions and identify root cause/s for mechanical and assembly issues of the product. Work with cross-functional team members from Test Engineering, Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality Engineering, EPM, TPM and DFX members. Lead role in process mapping to identify the root cause of assembly and mechanical failures. Lead role in managing, mentoring and leading FACA engineers and technicians.
Desired skills and experience
1.Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or related major
Minimum of 10 years work experience in Manufacturing Engineering (ME) or Process Engineering (PE) area. At least 5 years of FACA experience and at least 3 years of FACA lead role experience during NPI stage. FACA experiences in consumer electronics products (e.g. iPad, Mobile Phone, Power Bank & Laptop)
5.With Apple products manufacturing experience is preferred. Experience with other consumer electronics companies such as Google, Samsung, Huawei, Microsoft and alike is acceptable.
Experience in process mapping and failure analysis to identify the root cause.
7.Good communication and presentation skill in English
8.Familiar with SPC, FMEA, DOE, Control Plan, MSA and Statistical Data Analysis.
9. Familiar with Cross-Section, Dye & Pry, Strain gauge purpose.
10.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
11.Excellent leadership capabilities and good technical knowledge in mechanical engineering.
12.Hard-working, good team work, with self-initiative, with good time management and positive work attitude.
